Hydrogen is a chemical element with the symbol H and atomic number 1. It is the most abundant and lightest element of the universe. It makes up about 75% of its elemental mass. In the purest state of hydrogen, it has no odor, taste, or color. It is highly reactive and forms compounds with most other elements.
